Sustainability

Three things matter to us: how we farm, how we treat our people and how we help our neighbours. We keep a record of all three, and we share it here.

Our people

Our workers can join a union. We don't discriminate in hiring, pay or promotion. Worker representatives sit on our safety and health committee.

About 20 training sessions a year cover protective equipment, fire, first aid, chemical safety, estate skills, ethics and human rights and workplace bullying and stress. SUHAKAM and the Anti-Corruption Commission lead some of them.

Staff life

Keeping our team safe is the start. We look after their mental and emotional well-being too.We make time for each other through sports days, family activities and employee recognition, with support for new parents and gifts during festive seasons.

In 2021, Sabahebat received the Majikan Prihatin recognition under the PenjanaKerjaya 3.0 recruitment incentive programme.
